32nd Annual Conference
how God has used them

The 32nd Annual Conference of the GSIF held in Davis May 31st - June 2nd, exceeded our high expectations. God's presence was obvious and lives were changed by the eight messages, the anointing and the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

The theme of the Conference, was, "Crossing Over the Jordan Together" and we let the Holy Spirit direct our worship and the preaching. For example, our Keynote Speaker international Evangelist, Rev. Frank Abram is a serious student of end-time prophecy with well-researched messages including excellent graphic presentations. This year was no exception - except that on two evenings, he never got to his notes or his Power Point - instead, the Lord spoke a fresh word through him each evening, that even Brother Abram did not expect.

We all were edified and challenged by Revivalist Larry Silverman and the right on target prayers and accurate prophetic words of knowledge he and his wife Corinne ministered to us individually. Brother Silverman and Sister Barbara Abram ministered skillfully at the Men's and Women's Luncheons.

Rev. Gaylord Enns taught a profoundly relevant mini series on, "Whatever Happened to the Command of Christ?". He researched 10,000 pages of the the writings of the early church "Fathers" from the first century on and found only six references to the Jesus' command to us to love one another as He loved us. Clearly the Church needs to return to what Jesus said. Rev. Enns showed us in the Scripture that loving one another is God' number one priority and that fulfilling Christ's command is both "true worship" and God's "love language." (We strongly urge you to order the cds of Rev. Enns' four messages for only $8.00 dollars, plus postage)

Rev. Enns' message underscored the spirit and vision of the GSIF as given to and lived out by our beloved Founder, Rev. Nolan Peschke. The Lord also spoke prophetically through Brother Abram that told the GSIF must stay focused on this original vision God gave to Rev. Peschke. GSIF members are to living out Christ's love and humility in our relationships with others and continue to exhort ministers to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Our message will remain rooted in Paul's exhortations found in Ephesians 4:1-16 and the prayer of Jesus in the seventeenth chapter of the Gospel of John.
