Dr. Frank Abram

Dr. Frank Abram was born into a typical Jewish-American home in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. When Frank was still a young boy, his mother was stricken with an inoperable cancerous tumor and his father, in love with his wife and desperate for help, heard of a Kathryn Kulhman crusade and took the family there. His mother was healed - and is still alive, more than fifty years later - and the whole family turned to Christ. Before the age of 18, Frank and his brother embarked upon an international evangelistic ministry. Together with his wife Barbara, Dr. Frank Abram has ministered in crusades, seminars and to leaders around the globe - in 125 nations, so far - and has seen over one million souls accept Jesus as Savior. Dr. Abram's well-researched and spirit-led teachings carry a strong appreciation for Israel as God's timepiece for the return of Christ. He has been the keynote speaker at five of the Annual Conferences of the Good Shepherd International Fellowship and became a good friend of Rev. Nolan Peschke. Dr. Abram agreed to help carry forward Rev. Peschke's vision for the Fellowship as an Assistant General Superintendent, and has been a great help in doing so.

Pastor Arthur Defenderfer

Pastor Arthur Defenderfer has his physical roots in New England and in Marin County, California, and his spiritual roots in the "Jesus Movement" of the 1970's. He was a truth-seeking, activist student at the University of California, Davis - experimenting, yet never satisfied until drawn by the love of God to find true hope in Jesus. Art was saved in 1972 under the ministry of Rev. Nolan Peschke and began to serve the Lord and His church as zealously as he had searched and questioned. After finishing his BA at UC Davis, he attended and graduated from Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas. Returning to Davis, California in obedience to God's call, Rev. Defenderfer faithfully assisted Pastor Peschke in building the Word of Life Christian Center and Good Shepherd International Fellowship for nearly three decades. During this time, he also completed an MA in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco and joined Rev. Peschke in the ministry of the Good Shepherd Counseling Center. Since Rev. Peschke's passing in 2007, Rev. Defenderfer has continued to let the Lord lead and grow all these ministries. He is now the Senior Pastor of Word of Life Christian Center, an Assistant Superintendent in the Good Shepherd International Fellowship, and a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. Pastor Art longs (and lives) for salvation of unbelievers and for revival and unity in the Body of Christ.

Rev. Ken Bradford

Rev. Ken Bradford was born in Quebec, Canada and grew up in Davis, California, where he accepted Christ at a Bible study at the age of sixteen. Since then, he's learned from and worked with churches and schools from many streams: Presbyterian, Charismatic, Baptist, Pentecostal, Methodist, Mennonite, Restoration and more. Always having a vision for helping Christians of different backgrounds understand each other and work together, Ken was naturally drawn to the work and vision of Pastor Peschke and the Good Shepherd International Fellowship. After graduating from Fresno Pacific College in 1981 with a BA in History and Biblical Studies, Ken served one year as Youth Coordinator in Barrow, Alaska - the farthest-North church in the world. Since returning to Davis, he's managed or owned small businesses and stayed involved in the ministry of teaching, preaching and worship at Word of Life Christian Center in Davis. While assisting other ministries with crusades in the Philippine islands, Ken met the leaders who would later form the core of the GSIF Asia Foundation and on a subsequent trip, introduced these leaders to Pastor Peschke. Before his death, Rev. Peschke appointed Ken as GSIF's third Assistant General Superintendent to carry on the vision and work of the Fellowship.
