how God has used them

Mexico

During the 1960s, the late Mr. Jerre Strong was an active member of Pastor Peschke's congregation in El Paso, Texas. After graduating, he and Rev. Peschke often traveled into Mexico distributing Gospel literature. Jerre's heart was burdened for the Mexican people and with Nolan's encouragement and support he became a missionary to Mexico. Rev. Strong married a Mexican national and he and his wife, Mariquita, have over twenty churches in the State of Chihuahua. These churches are pastored by Mexican nationals. For more than forty years, wherever Nolan has pastored he has aided Jerre and his work in Mexico. Though Rev. Strong died suddenly in December 2006, the GSIF continues to support Mariquita as she leads the work in Mexico.

Under Jerre's and Mariquita's guidance, the Fellowship has assisted in the work of evangelism and church growth. Teaching seminars have been conducted for local pastors and their wives. Camp meetings for young people and evangelistic services for the local communities have also been held. "So the churches were established in the faith, and increased in number" (Acts 16:5). When Pastor Peschke visited in Chihuahua, he gathered with local ministers to impart the vision of love and unity.

Ministers who have accompanied Nolan on these journeys have come away with an enlarged vision to fulfill Christs Great Commission: "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15).
