Prophetic Ministries

"When the minstrel played, that the hand of the LORD came upon him" (2 Kings 3:15).

Rev. Alyosha Ryabinov The evangelists, pastors, teachers, and missionaries at the 1997 Annual Conference warmly received the prophetic ministry of Rev. Alyosha Ryabinov, a pastor from Florida. Of Jewish ancestry, Rev. Ryabinov accepted Jesus as his Messiah and Lord shortly after emigrating from Russia to the United States in the 1960s. He is a skilled concert pianist. Since 1985 he has given concerts and ministered throughout the United States, Sweden, Russia, and Israel.

The Lord has gifted him with the ability to play spontaneous, anointed, and spiritual musical compositions that minister to the hearts of those present. Pastor Ryabinov gave the Conference participants valuable insights that could have only come from one who was intimately familiar with Jewish culture, music, and Hebraic ways of thinking.

Pastors, missionaries, other members of the five-fold ministry and believers were challenged by the insightful preaching of Rev. Marty Gabler, the keynote speaker for the Fellowship's 1999 Annual Conference. Rev. Gabler and his wife Kathy came to the Conference in the middle of a divine visitation of the Holy Spirit that was flowing in their home church in Willis, Texas. Rev. Gabler brought the spirit of revival to the Conference. His teaching and prophetic ministry helped propel the Conference participants forward to fulfill God's destiny for their lives and ministries.

Leadership For The Twenty-First Century

The 1997 Conference keynote speaker was Dr. Benjamin Crandall, Sr. A fitting choice to address the topic, "Leadership for the Twenty-first Century," Dr. Crandall serves as President of Zion Bible Institute.

Founded in 1924, Zion Bible Institute is one of the oldest Pentecostal Bible schools in the United States. Dr. Crandall ministered for forty years in Brooklyn, New York, preaching daily on the radio and weekly on television. His congregation in Brooklyn grew to approximately 3,000 members. He established seven churches in the Greater New York area.

How Dr. Crandall described the way he used his faith to obtain the Barrington College campus for Zion Bible Institute clearly illustrated to those present that, "With God all things are possible," and "Nothing shall be impossible unto you" (Matthew 19:26 & 17:20).

Building A More Peaceful World Through Church Unity

Rev. Leon Willis was the 1996 Conference keynote speaker. His life, experiences, and messages reinforced the Conference theme, "Building A More Peaceful World Through Church Unity."

"Having abolished in His flesh the making peace" (Eph. 2:15).

Leon is the President of the Full Gospel Fellowship of Churches and Ministers International, based in Culver, Oregon. He has ministered extensively throughout the United States, Africa, and Asia. His vision of promoting unity among ministers and churches in the Body of Christ and the need to edify national church leaders in foreign countries closely parallels the emphasis of the Good Shepherd International Fellowship.

Living Above The Battle

"In all these things we are more than conquerors" (Rom. 8:37).

"Living Above the Battle" was the theme for the 1995 Annual Conference. The keynote speaker was Pastor Duncan Filmer of Living Word Ministries, Yonkers, New York. He is in demand nationally and internationally as a conference speaker and teacher.

Duncan's life and ministry clearly illustrated the Conference theme. After building a successful charismatic church and a Christian school in Australia, the Holy Spirit informed him that He would "take him to a place where few preachers would stay!" Ultimately Duncan, his wife and their young children left Australia and in the middle of winter, arrived in Yonkers, New York. They came with only their suitcases and no financial support, but trusting God alone to provide them with a home and a congregation. God met their need and in Yonkers they established a flourishing church and Christian school.

Duncan ministered powerfully on righteousness, grace, and living by faith in order to experience a fulfillment of God's promises. Many of those attending the Conference commented on how his messages motivated them to believe and trust God for greater victory in their personal lives and ministries.

Banding Together To Make A Difference

"Unto Him shall the gathering of the people be" (Gen. 49:10).

Under the theme of "Banding Together To Make A Difference," the 1994 Annual Conference featured Mike_DiSanza as its keynote speaker. Mike, one of the original founders of International Cops for Christ, shared how God saved and preserved him for over twenty years when, as a New York policeman, he worked the midnight patrol in Harlem and South Bronx.

After his conversion to Christ, he and his wife Ann commenced a weekly Bible study in their apartment for fellow police officers and their wives. In a short time they outgrew the space in their home and rented a warehouse. The numbers multiplied and eventually over 800 attended each week.

Mike's contagious enthusiasm for Christ and his stories of God's miraculous protection during his numerous brushes with death, inspired all. His thrilling, faith-filled messages made his hearers recognize that God would always cause them to triumph in Christ Jesus, no matter what trials they faced in their lives and the ministry (II Corinthians 2:14).

Blessings Received

"All these blessings shall come upon thee and overtake thee" (Deut. 28:2).

The experiences, knowledge, and warm enthusiasm of the Fellowship Conference participants and keynote speakers impart faith, strength, and vision to all present. In an anointed atmosphere of unity, friendly sharing, and fellowship, ministers are encouraged and recharged. They in turn encourage their fellow ministers to persevere in faith, shepherd Gods people, and cooperate together to fulfill the Great Commission of Christ.
